Since i was young, i’ve always found myself surrounded by photography. Everywhere we went, everything we did, my mom had a camera in her hands. She documented so much of my life before i even knew the value of a photograph. From home videos, to taking our film to Kmart to get devlopoed, she was always trying to make sure we had memories we would someday value. As i grew, i followed in her footsteps. Capturing life just as it is, real and raw, is something of importance to me. I want to keep those same values thoughout my work. If you’re looking for cheesy and overly posed, i’m not your girl. I want the work i create to reflect how you actually feel right in the moment. I choose as few pieces of equipment as possible. I take the opposite appraoch of a big production. being as minimalistic as possible is the only way to capture those real moments you’ll cherish for decades to come.
